- Heat treated to create a 'fireblue' finish that is unique to each bead and features tones of blue, purple, red, brown, bronze and yellow.
- Machined on a lathe, hand-hammered and hand-finished.
- The hammered finish provides grip.
- Edges and corners are smooth and rounded to ensure there are no sharp edges that might snag on clothing or equipment.

NOTE II: The 'fireblue' finish resulting from the heat treatment is unique to each bead and can vary considerably between pieces - the photography depicts an example bead that is indicative of the range of tones typically achieved from the heat treatment but the bead you receive may have a different shade or distribution of tones and colours.

This handmade hammered lanyard bead is perfect for adding to paracord or leather projects including; lanyards for pocket knives or flashlights, zip pulls or keyrings. Each one is individually made by hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques and tools and finished by hand resulting in beads with an individualistic character.
