I offer leatherwork tuition and courses for all levels, from complete beginner to advanced level makers. Tutorials are delivered on a one-to-one or one-to-two basis, allowing for focused, hands-on learning. The popular Introduction to Leatherwork tutorial is designed as a starting point for those new to the craft, with the option for one or more Introduction to Leatherwork Follow-up Tutorial sessions that will allow the student to continue to develop skills and confidence. For those who simply want to try leathercraft, the Handcrafted Leather Keyring tutorial provides a relaxed introduction for the novice maker and the opportunity to make a keyring to take home. I also offer advanced progression courses covering specific topics, such as Hand Sewing Leather: The Saddle Stitch, as well as fully tailored, bespoke tuition.
Drawing on my design background and more than a decade of professional experience in designing, crafting, and selling leather goods, I aim to elevate students' leatherworking abilities through focused, practical instruction that supports skill development and creative craftsmanship.

TERMS & CONDITIONS (CANCELLATION POLICY):
(applicable to all tuition sessions, courses & workshops)
PAYMENT: Payment can either be made in full at the time of booking a tutorial or, if preferred, a booking deposit can be paid (amount varies depending on course type, venue, etc. but is usually around 30% of the tutorial price) with the outstanding balance due at least one week before the tutorial. Only students who have paid in full and in advance will be allowed entry to an educational event.
CANCELLATION: If you need to cancel your attendance at an educational event, please contact me ASAP to let me know - I will always do everything I can to accommodate a reschedule, but please be aware that most of the venues I use do not offer refunds for cancelled venue hire.
If cancellation is made more than 14 calendar days prior to the event then often a reschedule is possible without incurring any additional costs. If attendance is cancelled closer than 14 calendar days to the event, then the booking deposit will be retained, and in the event of a reschedule, an additional booking fee (to cover the cost of venue hire) may be payable.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of a tutorial, workshop or educational event will not be eligible for any refund. In the circumstance where a student does not show at the arranged tutorial/workshop/event then the full balance as paid will be retained. In the unlikely scenario that Fenner Benedict Handmade needs to cancel an event the attendee(s) will be contacted and offered the option of either a full refund or a reschedule (with no additional costs to the student).
